Small Business Apps Are A Lifesaver

Your technology is the core of how you keep your business running smoothly. I’ll share with you what’s in mine. We might have a few in common…

  1. QuickBooks: QuickBooks Online is an accounting software that helps small business owners manage their finances, invoice clients, receive payments, track income and expenses, and create financial reports.

  2. Monday.com: Monday.com is a project management app that I use with my teams on each business. This basically shows me what tasks they are working on, what’s coming due, who is responsible for each task, what potential clients are in the pipeline, and the status of each task (Not Started, In Progress, Done)

  3. Motion: I use this to manage my time for business and personal and have all of my calendars synced as well so that I am never double booked.

  4. Slack: Slack is a messaging app that allows small business teams to communicate and collaborate in real-time, making it easier to stay connected and share ideas. This really limits the amount of emails flying back and forth and increases response time without me having to text my employees. Plus we get to set different “channels” about different topics too.

  5. Zoom: Zoom is a video conferencing app that allows small business owners to conduct virtual meetings and webinars, making it easier to connect with clients and employees remotely. We use this faithfully to screen share and go through things that require more than an instant message. I don't require them to come into the office, nor turn on their cameras.

  6. Wix: I use Wix to manage most of my websites, schedule social media posts, host my webinars, and send all of my email marketing.

  7. Google Drive: Google Drive is a cloud storage and collaboration app that allows small business teams to share and collaborate on documents and files in real-time.

  8. Canva: Canva is a graphic design app that helps small business owners create professional-looking graphics and marketing materials, even if they have no design experience. We use Canva for all of our designs for presentations and social media.

  9. Divvy: Divvy is an expense management app that helps small business owners track and manage their expenses, making it easier to keep track of receipts and

Reimbursements. This is so that my team can make purchases with their expense card connected right to my company. I can approve it from my phone and they are able to upload the receipts as well, which keeps me audit ready.

Overall, these small business apps can help entrepreneurs save time, stay organized, and improve their business operations, making them a lifesaver for small business owners. I hope you are using some of these in your business too!
